We are also very excited as Susan will present us with an exclusive virtual tour of her current exhibit. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas Tech University in 1983, a Master of Arts degree from University of Houston in 1987 and a Master of Fine Arts degree from University of Texas at San Antonio in 1999. Budge currently lives in Houston where she continues her
    studio practice and teaches ceramics at the Art League of Houston and the Museum of Fine Arts Glassell School.Susan’s work is inspired by mythology, illusions, and psychology. Most of her work is abstract as she tends to be more spontaneous and creates from her subconscious mind as her hands do the work! Susan’s latest work is a visual journey of her struggles and joy amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

    Image of Susan Budge's sculptural workHEIDI VAUGHAN FINE ART proudly presents Ecstasy Over Agony, an exhibition of new sculptural works by Susan Budge. The show opens Saturday, October 24, from 11 to 6 pm at the gallery, located at 3510 Lake Street at Colquitt in the Upper Kirby Galleries. The show is up through November 28, 2020. We will be open all day, limiting the number of people in the gallery at any one time. Our virtual exhibit will be filmed by Mel DeWees, Owner and Director of Gray Contemporary.
