Art Supply on Main

VAA had our first critique night at Art Supply on Main. Vikki Trammell, owner of Art Supply welcomed us to our new location and had a presentation wall ready for us. There were 13 attendees and 7 showed work. Showing work for critique were:
Mike Reed – acrylic on canvas and plexiglass
Judy Deacon – acrylic on canvas (3 pieces)
Humberto Lara – acrylic on canvas (study)
Marguerita Baldwin – watercolor and colored pencil on paper
Deborah Clise – mixed media on canvas
Troy Winscott – pencil on paper
Monica Melgar – acrylic on canvas
Everyone in attendance was encouraged to participate to offer opinions and helpful observations. The artists presenting were asked to give the audience guidance as to what specific feedback may help them make improvements.
Vikki surprised everyone when she presented a door prize consisting of about 12 stretched canvases and boards to Deborah!
The next critique will be on Monday, March 17 at Art Supply on Main at 6pm. These events are free and open to the public.
