VAA members and guests met at Mixed Emotions Fine Art to participate in a peer critique of artwork.
Attendees were permitted time to present work and ask others for feedback. Over the two-hour period, 11 artists presented work which included abstract, portrait, digital and collage work.
Artists presenting their current work were Matt Adams, Eileen McClellan, Julia Koutroulis, Julia Koutroulis, Shida Rad, Ron Masters, Marsha Glickman, Dune Tencer, Vincent Fink, Joy, and Tim Walker. Also in attendance were Tracey Meyer, Karen Anne Smith, Jim Adams, Crystal Owens and Ben Graves, as well as, our hostess, Paula Siegel of Mixed Emotions Fine Art.
Specific points that came up included completion of a piece, photo-realism, presenting a series of work and signing work on the front of the piece.
This group of working, thinking artists created an open and supportive environment where everyone left with something to consider.
