VAA’s 37th Juried Open Exhibition is being presented online in a virtual gallery. Since our founding in 1981, this will be our 87th (37 open, 37 membership and 13 invitational) professionally juried exhibit. This is our third online exhibit, and we have worked hard to keep creativity going through these turbulent times. We saw a record number of 197 artists from 18 states and 4 countries entering 721 artworks. Harry Cooper, Ph.D., Senior Curator of the National Gallery of Art chose 104 (14%)of the artworks to be included in the exhibition.
