Leadership

Since 1981, Visual Arts Alliance has been a driving force in Houston’s creative landscape—supporting artists, inspiring audiences, and building an inclusive visual arts community. Through juried exhibitions, educational programs, and opportunities to connect, we empower artists at every stage of their journey. At our core, we believe in the power of art to foster growth, dialogue, and belonging. Learn more about our mission, our vision, and the history that shaped who we are today.

Member at Large

Crystal Owens

N. Blanca, the pseudonym, identifies Crystal’s creative process. This identity is a perspective on documenting the beauty of everyday objects. Her ceramics are vessels for objects, as well as ideas. Vessels are filled into and then emptied, like we hold and release emotions.
