I became a member of VAA in 2016. Within a few years I joined the Board of Directors as the Exhibitions Committee Chair. I remained in that position for six years. Being directly involved with the exhibitions with so many incredible artists’ works of art was exciting, something I will look back on as fulfilling and rewarding. I met many fantastic artists, collectors, and curators. I strongly encourage members to get involved with this long-standing organization. – Bill Gerrish
