My good friend Bill Gerrish is a long-time member of VAA and has invited me to several VAA exhibitions over the past several years. I have been wanting to join and get involved, but found it hard to find the time while working full time and raising a family. Now that I have retired and have gotten back into painting and woodworking I have decided to join the VAA and try to enter some of my work in upcoming exhibitions. I am looking forward to attending more VAA functions and volunteering to help the organization. Thank you for all that you do for the Houston art community!
