I am a new member of VAA and am looking forward to utilizing all of the opportunities VAA has to offer artists. I attended my first “Third Monday” critique and found it very interesting. I will definitely take advantage of the museum and gallery tours as well as the expanded interaction with other local artist. Marketing is a huge issue with artists and I feel membership with VAA will give me more insight and knowledge to better market myself and my work.
