Joan Son presents “Time Travelers”
During the summer when Joan Son was 9 years old, she began a project that is coming full circle now. For several days that summer her life was consumed designing paper doll dresses… one after the other until all her mother’s good typing paper was used up. Her mother saved these early artworks, over 65 pieces. She has recreated these designs into full size 3 dimensional paper dresses that will be displayed on cylinders of light… as if coming through portals of time.
