February program: Print Museum

On Saturday, February 7, 2015, about 22 artists and art enthusiasts enjoyed a brief morning coffee in the fantastic Printing Museum of Houston, followed by a presentation in the theater. Cathie Kayser and Andis Applewhite, co-founders of PrintHouston, gave a presentation about their organization and the growth and popularity of print in Houston. Photos of exhibitions and their famous Rockin’ Rollin’ Prints event featuring multiple artists, large prints, and a steamroller, created (or renewed) interest in the art of prints in the audience. This prompted some great discussion.
