Today, we completed the 6-hour process of installing one of our Juried Invitational Exhibitions. It began at 9:00 A.M with 38 qualified artists bringing 110 pieces. We then entered the data for all the artwork into the computer. Next, the juror, Michael Guidry, selected from works as they layed on the floor in neat rows for as long as it takes to make the final selections. We then arranged the artwork, hung it on the walls and made the wall tags.
This is the only juried exhibition that is executed within just one day that happens in Texas.
The reception is this Friday, February 7 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Awards are announced at 7:00 P.M.
