I grew up in Brazil and since my early years I enjoyed drawing and painting. The fascination for art hibernated after starting Medical School and my post-graduate training in the U.S. Life was too busy as a pathologist and mother of 3 boys. I see Pathology as a combination of science and visual arts, the reason, I guess, I chose it as a specialty.
My painting career started about 10 years ago. My basic medium is watercolor, which is aften used in combination with acrylics in my seascapes, florals, etc. My style is in process of development and studies under the microscope is a subject in progress.
I love art and all the aspects of its visual fascination. I also like the idea of supporting art and artists, the main reason I opened Galeria Regina, 2 years ago.
