On November 8, 2017, VAA hosted the opening reception of the VAA 35th Juried Membership Exhibition. Artists and guests filled the upper hallway at Spring Street Studios, viewing the selected artwork in various mediums.
The following awards were presented by the juror, Cindy Lisica, Ph.D:
- 1st Place – Daniel Brents, Infirmary
- 2nd Place – William Gerrish, Memento #9
- 3rd Place – Leslie Guzman, Grandmother’s Window
- Honorable Mentions – Angela Corson, Neil Gottlieb, Ellen Ray
